Do I have to tell my housemate?
No, you don’t need to worry about any awkward
conversations or arguments. We’ll speak with your
landlord and try to speak with your housemate to
resolve the situation. We’ll give them every opportunity
to get up-to-date with what they owe and hopefully
won’t have to engage the services of
our legal partner.
How long does a claim take?
Registering a claim with us is an incredibly quick process, the follow-on actions take a variable amount of time depending on many factors including; ease of contact with the tenant in arrears, how large the owed amount is and actions already taken by the landlord..
Will a claim affect me as a guarantor?
There will be almost no impact on you as a guarantor. There will be no costs incurred nor will your future fee be increased.
